Job Summary Under general supervision, this position develops, improves, and supports the Cal Poly enterprise web program. This position will also be responsible for creation, execution, and oversight of portions of vendor contracts and relationships. Working with the director of ITS-Service Strategy and Portfolio management team and our other project managers, the Web/Cloud project manager would lead projects to deliver, maintain, secure, upgrade, and respond to incidents. The majority of web services (development, hosting) will be outsourced to best-of-breed vendors. This project manager will take lead role in vendor management, inter-vendor coordination, and scheduling of large scale web system changes. In addition, this position will work closely with University Marketing Web Director to ensure technology solutions will meet overall web strategic vision. This will require working internally with ITS experts to provide appropriate advice, direction, configuration, and process adherence.
