ABOUT THE POSITION The Clark County Water Reclamation District is seeking qualified candidates to apply for the WRD Senior Control Systems Analyst position. This position will be primarily responsible for:
- Leading and coordinating an Operational Technology team in daily activities to include work assignments based on operational, safety and process needs.
- Performing as an Operational Technology expert in training, and assist ing co-workers & other trades with troubleshooting, installations and retrofit of control systems as required for reliable and consistent treatment process operations.
- Providing written explanations and drawings for documentation, defining a scope of work, or training others.
- Assisting in the design and design review of new facilities with a focus on reliability, process instrumentation and control systems. Participate in the planning and execution of corrections to existing installations as required to enhance processes capability and reliability.
- Designing, implement ing, install ing and maintain ing equipment, control systems, and application programming as required to meet operational needs.
- Timely and concise communication with technical and non-technical staff, salespeople, consultants, contractors, and the public.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education and Experience: Equivalent to a bachelor's degree in computer science, data processing, mathematics, electrical engineering, or a related field AND four (4) years of full-time professional level experience in SCADA and programmable logic controller (PLC) system application development and programming, or similar professional level experience in developing and modifying large-scale computer-controlled process automation control systems and programming. Experience in the maintenance and malfunction analysis of industrial electronic control systems Is also required. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education. Qualifying education and experience must be clearly documented in the "Education" and "Work Experience" sections of the application. Working Conditions: Work is subject to performance under adverse environmental conditions. Incumbent may come into contact with wastewater, exposed electrical potentials, oils, lubricants, toxic chemicals, and gases during the performance of duties. Incumbent may also be required to work extended shifts, Standby duty or be called back in emergency situations.
Licenses and Certifications: Must possess a valid Nevada Class C driver's license at time of hire.
Background Investigation: Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background investigation. Periodically after employment, background investigations may be conducted.
Medical Examination: Employment is contingent upon the results of a physical examination performed by our examining physician.
Pre-Employment Drug Testing: Employment is contingent upon the results of a pre-employment drug examination.
