Registered Nurse Specialist/Supervisor 1st shift - BHC

This position is located at Bellefontaine Habilitation Center, 10695 Bellefontaine Rd., Saint Louis, MO 63137. Working hours are primarily first shift, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with Saturday/Sunday/Holidays off.

You will be working with staff who enjoy caring for others and want to make a difference in the lives of those impacted by a mental illness or developmental disability.

This is an advanced specialized and supervisory registered nurse position. Supervisors are accountable for directing nursing services, which includes oversight/review of work and documentation of subordinate and/or specialist personnel. Supervises, plans, and schedules the delivery of second shift nursing services across our campus. Conducts nursing assessments, develops nursing diagnoses, and formulates short and long-term objectives and treatment plans for our consumers with developmental disabilities.

A successful candidate must possess a current license to practice as a registered nurse in Missouri, have a minimum of 2-4 years of experience as an RN and 1 year of direct supervisory experience of Registered Nurses.

Current DMH employees will not be eligible to apply if they have received a disciplinary action within the last 6 months.
