Position Description
Provides manual and/or clerical services in related work area. Work may involve strenuous physical activity and/or exposure to the outdoors. Work is performed under general supervision and is evaluated through observation and results obtained.
Major/Essential Functions
Assisting patients and visitors to TTUHSC and all Texas Tech Physicians clinics by providing:
- Information
- Directions
- Escorts
- Transportation
- Wheelchair Assistance
- Valet Service
- Courtesy Parking Shuttle/Assistance
The ideal candidate will exemplify the TTUHSC values of 'one team', 'kindhearted', 'integrity', 'visionary'. and 'beyond service'
- You may be required to drive a golf cart (Valid current driver's license would be needed).
- You will be on your feet for long periods of time.
- You may walk up to 10 miles per day providing escorts inside and outside the TTUHSC building and/or pushing adult patients in wheelchairs.
Required Qualifications
Completion of High School or the equivalent and two years experience. May require a valid driver's license, with good driving record.
