    Summary

    Provides customer service to patrons in person and by telephone, answering questions and assisting with registration and facility reservations.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Facilitate customer relations with a positive, professional attitude and tact.
    • Provides information to the public by answering phone and emails and responding to requests.
    • Promotes, implements, and assist with recreational activities, including but not limited to youth programs, athletic leagues and tournaments, adult and senior programs, and special events.
    • Assist with programs and events by registering patrons for classes and events; entering or documenting registrations; setting up equipment or supplies, completing clean-up activities.
    • Provides customer service and responds to routine inquiries regarding the city’s recreation and park facilities, services, and programs.
    • Documents and enters payments, prepare receipts and cash reports, secure receipts and payments for processing and scheduling of activities.
    • Facilitate equipment check out of recreation, leisure and athletic equipment. Documenting check out and return and ensure all equipment is used safely.
    • Carry out additional duties as assigned.
    • Provides assistance in coordinating recreation and/or other special events hosted by the city.
    • Processes participant registration for various types of recreation classes and activities to include receiving and processing fees.
    This job has no supervisory responsibilities

    Education and/or Experience

    Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have high school diploma or equivalent.

    Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

    Prefer at least one-year experience with Community Pass and 6 months cash handling experience
