- Ensure the accurate and timely preparation and processing of a variety of payroll and personnel transactions and related documents.
- Ensure payroll and all personnel transactions are entered into Human Capital Management system accurately.
- Process direct deposit enrollments, changes and cancellations.
- Ensure manual checks are processed timely and accurately.
- Ensure confidentiality of team member payroll and benefit information.
- Process enroll/change/cancel deductions for AllState, AFLAC/Assurity.
- Add and expire tax payment agreements.
- Quarterly Position Control Log Review.
- Assist with compliance reviews and audits.
- Work with team members and Office of Administration staff to correct payroll errors.
- Inform team members of policies and procedures; respond to a variety of personnel and payroll questions.
- Verify employment status for team members.
- Review various reports associated with payroll (MOBIUS, MOSERS PHOENIX, etc.)
- Coordinate with Homes Program human resources staff and/or supervisor regarding payroll changes or errors.
- Attend training sessions and or meetings.
- Edit time records and process for team members as needed in the electronic timekeeping system.
- Update and maintain personnel files.
- Lift and move supplies and equipment.
- Assist with HR projects and provide general support to HR team.
- May perform duties associated with scanning, copying, shipping and receiving documents.
- Perform repetitive finger movements in the use of computers and other similar equipment in order to enter data.
Qualifications:Must demonstrate the following which may be obtained through two or more years of work experience in human resources, business administration, accounting, purchasing, communications or closely related area or through two or more years of post-secondary education in human resources, business administration, accounting, purchasing, communications or closely related program or some combination thereof:
- Knowledge of the principles and practices of human resources and personnel administration
- Knowledge of the career continuum - recruitment, evaluation, growth, retention, recognition
