    Customer Service Representative-FSB- Returned Checks

    Department of Revenue

    Location: 301 W. High Street, Jefferson City, MO

    Annual Salary: $ 37,799.68

    HOW THIS POSITION SUPPORTS THE DEPARTMENT’S VISION:

    Our Customer Service Representative position is located within our Financial Services Bureau and will assist customers on return checks for motor vehicle and driver’s license transactions. The ideal candidate should have excellent customer service skills, as well as, basic knowledge of motor vehicle and driver’s procedures.

    DUTIES PERFORMED TO SUPPORT THE DEPARTMENT’S VISION:

    • Process return checks for motor vehicle and driver’s license transactions
    • Process payments for return check customers via phone, mail, and other departments
    • Communicate with customers via telephone, email, or letter regarding return check account information
    • Interpret and explain rules, regulations and policies to customers
    • Maintain both an internal email, voicemail inbox and respond to customers accordingly
    • Communicate with other departments and law enforcement regarding return check accounts

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • High School diploma or high school equivalency certificate
    • 2-4 years’ experience as an associate customer service representative or closely related work
    • Preferred knowledge of motor vehicle policies and procedures
