This position supports collaboration and integration among Contra Costa Health’s community responders addressing behavioral health and social needs within the community. Typical Responsibilities: - Develop and manage comprehensive plans for community response, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and community needs.
- Conducts assessments to identify community needs.
- Build relationships with local agencies, non-governmental organizations, and other stakeholders to facilitate effective response strategies.
- Build, maintain and strengthen relationships with the community through consistent public engagement
- Prepares scope of services and administers/manages contracts with other agencies
- Assesses the need for and designs training sessions and workshops to ensure response readiness
- Tracks the effectiveness of response efforts, using data to make informed decisions regarding continuous improvement.
- Identifies the need for and secures funding to support response initiatives.
- Represents Contra Costa Health to the public, elected officials, other agencies, committees, community groups and organizations.
- Directs the integration of Contra Costa Health response teams associated with community response including behavioral health crisis response and coordinated, outreach, referral and engagement activities.

Minimum QualificationsEducation: Possession of a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Health Administration, Public Administration, Health Education, Business Administration, Communications, Nursing, Environmental Health, biological or physical science from an accredited college or university.
Experience: Six (6) years of full-time, or its equivalent, experience in a Healthcare or Hospital setting performing duties either as a Clinician, Administrator or Public Information Officer, three (3) years must have included supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications:- A valid license issued by the State of California, Board of Behavioral Sciences in one of the following areas:
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) orLicensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) orLicensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) or
- A valid license as a Psychologist issued by the State of California Department of Consumer Affairs, Board of Psychology or
- A valid licensed to practice medicine or osteopathy in the State of California and completion from an accredited psychiatric residency program. Must be board certified or eligible for certification.
