    Overview

    This posting is "Continuous" and may close at any time when the vacancy is filled.

    The Fleet Services department is hiring a Fleet Service Coordinator!

    This position will be key to the service coordination at Fleet with internal and external customers. They will help schedule and coordinate the preventative and repair maintenance activities of light, medium, heavy-weight, and specialized vehicles, including Carter Lake and landfill vehicles along with all other related equipment between Fleet Services, other County Departments, and outside vendors to ensure the effective and efficient operations of the Department of Fleet Services.

    This position will be working with staff in our fleet shop in Loveland. The typical schedule is 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Monday - Friday.

    Responsibilities

    What you'll be doing:
    • Generating reports and contacting customers to schedule vehicle maintenance, including coordinating with outside vendors.
    • Creating and managing work orders.
    • Serving as a liaison for fleet services with internal and external customers.
    • Handling DMV title processing and ordering fuel cards for fleet units.
    • Managing the loaner car program.
    • Ensuring all databases are updated and maintained accurately.
    • Collaborating daily with shop managers.
    • Taking meeting notes and preparing minutes.

    • Clear and effective written communication with different groups.

    • Ability to set and adjust appointments, calendars, and work schedules for light-duty vehicles.
    • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to answer questions and direct complex issues to the appropriate person.
    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to complete tasks efficiently as part of workflows.
    • Consistent and predictable attendance.

    • Must be at least 18 years of age.
    • One (1) year experience as an Administrative Specialist I or two (2) years of experience in a directly related field or in the performance of similar office administrative duties and responsibilities required.
