In this entry-level role, you will support the maintenance and accuracy of our ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB). You will also assist in IT Operations Management (ITOM), and Service Mapping activities.
Successful candidates will learn the administration of the ServiceNow platform as well as general server administration. Candidates will routinely work on request and incident tickets, assist in the configuration and management of ServiceNow, integrate with various systems, build out various policies to keep the CMDB and ITOM discovery running efficiently and accurately. Successful candidates should take pride in expanding their capabilities, proactively research new technologies and features to improve the CMDB and ITOM applications, enjoy solving complicated problems, and be able to work collaboratively in a team.

- Assist in updating and maintaining records in our ServiceNow CMDB, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
- Support the execution and monitoring of ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping jobs.
- Help identify and resolve basic data discrepancies or issues within the CMDB.
- Work with senior team members to document configuration items, relationships, and service dependencies.
- Assist with routine audits and data quality checks on the CMDB.
- Provide basic troubleshooting for ServiceNow-related issues and escalate as needed.
- Help maintain documentation for CMDB and ITOM processes.
- Support the generation of standard reports and dashboards for asset and service tracking.
Knowledge:
- Basic understanding of IT infrastructure components (server, networks, applications).
- Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools is a plus.
- Awareness of ITIL concepts and configuration management principles.
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic data entry and data analysis skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to follow established procedures and documentation.
Abilities:
- Ability to learn new technologies and processes quickly.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with ServiceNow or other ITSM/CMDB tools is a plus but not required.
- Experience with scripting languages (JavaScript, Python) and web services (REST, SOAP) is a plus but not required.
- Experience with Bash and Powershell is a plus but not required.
- Associate's Degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
- 1+ year of experience in IT support or technician role (internships included).
