    Role

    Yavapai County Facilities Department is seeking a skilled and dependable Electrician to join our team!

    This position performs a variety of electrical installation, maintenance, and repair work across County buildings and facilities. From troubleshooting wiring systems to ensuring compliance with safety codes and regulations, this role plays a vital part in keeping County infrastructure safe, functional and up to code.     Major Duties, Responsibilities

    • Performs electrical installations and maintenance. Reads and interprets electrical schematic diagrams and design specifications.
    • Ensures code conformance and provides technical assistance and training to others.
    • Oversees material estimates, ordering of materials, and the keeping of accurate records.
    • Researches, designs, and estimates electrical job costs and inspects electrical systems for safety compliance and load balance.
    • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.


    Minimum Qualifications

    Education:
    High school diploma or equivalent.

    Experience:
    A minimum of four (4) years of experience in electrical trades.

    Additional Requirements:
    Must possess a valid Arizona driver’s license.
