The Family Support Division is seeking a candidate to fill a Program Specialist position within the Child Support Outreach Unit. The base for this position will be based at the St Louis City/Choteau Child Support Office located at 3101 Chouteau, St Louis, MO .

- Work closely with contractors and community partners; utilize knowledge of child support policies and procedures as well as knowledge of contractual agreements between the State of Missouri and contractors; provide assistance, guidance, and coordination in the successful productivity and effectiveness of outreach activities.
- Maintaining a caseload
- Assist with coordinating workforce participation activities;
- Assist in program planning, development, evaluation and implementation utilizing existing data and research regarding best practices and evidence-based interventions demonstrated to increase work participation;
- Develop and design new program policies and procedures, modify existing ones and communicate changes to contracted providers as required; monitor contracted providers, write monitoring reports, and provide technical assistance and training as needed;
- Research, review, and analyze federal and state legislation for its intent, meaning, and effects;
- Monitor customers who are exempt or excluded to improve work participation; maintain data for the areas(s) assigned and distribute to the FSD offices within the region(s);
- FSD representative on boards, councils, committees, and workgroups;
- Utilize knowledge of child support policies and procedures as well as extensive research to provide assistance, guidance, and coordination in the successful development of new educational material for the Outreach Program;
- Writing educational material independently or with a team. edit or add input to the work of a team member who has developed new educational material;
Bachelor’s degree
and 1-3 years of relevant experience. (Substitutions may be allowed.)

Child Support experience preferred Desired Skills: - Ability to communicate and interpret complex ideas, plans, procedures, and programs;
