- Ensure compliance of all managed care marketing and member education materials.
- Assist with MO HealthNet contracts including, the managed care contract and the beneficiary support and premium collection solution and services contract.
- Assist with managed care waivers and SPAs, including the 1915(b), 1932a, 1115, and Child Insurance Program (CHIP).
- Analyze reports submitted by contracted entities to ensure compliance with contracts.
- Analyze new legislation for fiscal impact.
- Collaborate with external and internal stakeholders and other divisions within the Department of Social Services or outside agencies.
- Assist with health care policy development and compliance.
- Assist in facilitating proactive regulatory procedures in partnership with other divisional units including policy, readiness, and program reviews.
- Assist with the Premium Collection Program.
- Additional unit duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree and 1-3 years of relevant experience. (Substitutions may be allowed.)
Preferred Qualifications:Candidates for this position must have excellent writing and communication skills. Experience with development and compliance activities related to contracts and waivers, and Medicaid participant enrollment is preferred. They must be able to research, have knowledge of, and provide an accurate interpretation of policies, procedures, laws, rules, and regulations. Candidates must be able to work independently, as well as in a team. This unit interacts with multiple agencies including managed care staff, the program’s actuary, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, the program’s beneficiary support and solution vendor, the external quality review organization, as well as numerous MO HealthNet team members. Professionalism and the ability to build and maintain working relationships is crucial.
