The Bureau of HIV, STI and Hepatitis (BHSH) provides HIV, sexually transmitted infection (STI), and Viral Hepatitis education targeted to the general public, those at risk for infection, and clinical providers; access to HIV, STI, and Viral Hepatitis prevention and testing services; increased access to HIV, STI, and Viral Hepatitis care, and treatment. The salary indicated represents a base pay rate. If the individual selected or the position is eligible for a pay differential (e.g., shift, security, or years of service), it will be added to the total compensation in your paycheck. A pay differential does not raise your base pay.
- Manage the Ending the HIV Epidemic program, grants, and work plans funded through the Centers for Disease Control and
- Prevention (CDC) and Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA).
- Coordinate with internal and external partners from across the state to identify the best outreach and treatment programs for people at risk or currently living with HIV that are not in care.
- Monitor program performance measures and outcomes.
- Maintain regular contact with CDC and HRSA for reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with the Office of Epidemiology to gather and analyze data related to ending the HIV epidemic.
- Assist in developing and implementing social and digital media campaigns related to Ending the HIV Epidemic and coordinate the development of the statewide HIV Care and Prevention Integrated Plan
Minimum Qualifications: - Master’s degree and 2 or more years of relevant experience (Substitutions may be allowed.)
- Project management experience is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and show initiative within a team environment.
