    The Public Health Program Associate position in the Bureau of Communicable Disease Control and Prevention (BCDCP) is an important member of a knowledgeable team of professionals working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. The primary role of BCDCP is to conduct surveillance and response activities for the prevention and control of communicable diseases.     The salary indicated represents a base pay rate. If the individual selected or the position is eligible for a pay differential (e.g., shift, security, or years of service), it will be added to the total compensation in your paycheck. A pay differential does not raise your base pay.

    • Coordinate requests, distribution of resources, documentation and invoicing for the Tuberculosis Elimination Program's Diagnostic Services Provider and Incentives and Enablers programs.
    • Respond to requests from medical providers and local public health agencies for services.
    • Utilize word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and other relevant computer applications to document requests, invoices, budgets, and expenditures.
    • Serve as the BCDCP Training Coordinator by assisting in the scheduling, registration, and post training evaluations for all BCDCP lead trainings.
    • Assist team members with office operations, including mail services and printing.
    • Assist in the coordination of the TB Elimination Programs Cohort Review meetings.
    • Represent the program with exemplary customer service and professional phone etiquette.
    • Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team of nurses and epidemiologists.
    • Maintain supply inventories.


    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor degree (substitutions may be allowed).
    • One or more years of related office experience preferred.
    • Well organized and the ability to pay attention to detail.
    • Public Speaking ability
