Position Description
Plans, budgets, advertises, and executes special events for the institution, including social events, recognition celebrations, conferences, and meetings. Facilitates production of events by coordinating with vendors, performing groups, media, and approving expenditures.
Major/Essential Functions
The Event Planner is responsible for the strategic planning, coordination, and execution of events that advance the mission and priorities of Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC). This position collaborates with internal departments, leadership, and external partners to deliver high-quality events that strengthen community engagement, support institutional initiatives, and enhance the visibility of TTUHSC across all campuses.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree plus one year related experience; OR a combination of education and/or related experience equal to five years.
