Role Description: Responsible for direct reporting and supervision as it pertains to Regional Office Quality Program RN (QPRN) functions. Will serve to support the Division as members of the Division Clinical Operations Team .
What you’ll do: Expectations - Directly supervise the QPRNs within the assigned regional offices.
- When assigned, assist Residential Service providers in the role of an interim Residential RN Rater when the Residential Service provider has a requested need.
- Organize Annual Statewide Residential Oversight RN Webinar.
- Support the statewide Regional Quality Program (QP) Unit to conduct HRS Clinical Reviews and Expanded Clinical Reviews (when applicable) in the event there is a QPRN vacancy, unexpected leave etc.
- Facilitate and coordinate regional mortality review committee and processes.
- Support the assigned regional local mortality review committees serving as facilitators and assigning regional QPRNs to participate in committee reviews
- Receive via REDCap residential service provider notifications pertaining to RN vacancies and new hire and assign regional QPRNs for agency follow-up.
- Attend work according to facility policies to ensure adequate staff coverage, which includes reporting daily to the assigned domicile location.
Essential Functions - Lead QPRN Regional Team(s). Supervisory duties include but are not limited to:
- Review, approval, and submission of all timesheets by established deadlines,
- Hiring, developing and promoting qualified individuals through defined department processes,
- Meeting with QPRN team members monthly and recording monthly Engage meetings in Engage tracking system,
- Documenting performance throughout the year and addressing situations that need to be addressed in a timely fashion,
- Fostering an open environment for the exchange of ideas by encouraging differing opinions and viewpoints,
- Making timely and consistent decisions and communicating those to staff in a clear manner,
- Promoting input from employees and using goal setting with employees as part of a continuous improvement process,
- Resolving conflict effectively and efficiently.
- Serve as a direct liaison with the applicable ROD and/or AD and designated Region QP Lead when there are identified areas for regional office follow-up with agencies.
- Complete Division and Regional QEP process for data components assigned to the Clinical Operations Team.
- Review daily EMT reports for respective regions.
- Assign Quality Program RN team member to complete Reportable Clinical QA/Reviews as applicable.
Typical Qualifications: - RN Licensure in good standing to practice in the State of Missouri
- 4 or more years of relevant experience including 1-2 years of supervisory experience preferred
- Valid MO Driver’s License
Preferred Qualifications: Training, certification, and/or education in continuous process improvement programs such as Lean Six Sigma as well as completion of Missouri Way, Leadership Academy, or similar programs is preferred.
