Why you will love this position:This is a dynamic position assisting employers with their state unemployment tax accounts. This position involves maintaining state unemployment tax account numbers, processing mail, and performing other duties as assigned.
What you will do:• Update the status of employers’ accounts.
• Maintain information on an employer’s account, including address changes, responsible party changes, and other information.
• Processing and sorting incoming mail.
• Assisting staff with Appeal filings and documentation.
• Fielding incoming calls to the Liability Unit as needed.
Qualifications - High School diploma (or equivalent) and 1 year of customer service experience (substitutions may be allowed)
Desired AttributesIntroductory knowledge of general business organization and operations.
Introductory knowledge of current office practices and procedures.
Introductory knowledge of computer and related equipment for data input, retrieval, and word processing.
Ability to communicate effectively with agency staff, claimants, employers, and other persons.
Ability to work quickly and accurately.
Ability to organize and prioritize workload to meet assigned timeframes and adapt to changes in policy, procedures, and work assignments.
