    Position Description:
    • Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance.
    • Promotes and maintains positive and effective working relationships and promotes good public relationships as a representative of Licking County Government.
    • Plan, direct, oversee and evaluate the day-to-day operations of the Day Reporting Program and report issues and ideas to the Director and/or Deputy Director.
    • Responsible for the daily functions of the Day Reporting Program.
    • Appropriately uses the Adult Court Services’ case management system to monitor the day reporting participants according to supervision standards and report behaviors to the assigned probation officer and into the Adult Court Services’ case management system. Implements/monitors conditions of the Day Reporting Program as ordered by the Court to ensure compliance.
    • Conducts assessments as assigned by the Court or by the Director and makes appropriate recommendations to the Court and Adult Court Services Staff as to dispositions and other matters.
    • Interface with the Behavioral Health Providers. Maintains a working relation with community agencies and criminal justice agencies.
    • Performs on-call duties as specified during non-business hours.
    • Maintains workload statistics and completes state required data forms.
    • Adhere to all Court policies, guidelines, practices and procedures; act as a role model both inside and outside the Court.
    • Perform duties as workload necessitates in a timely, accurate and thorough manner and be conscientious about meeting department productivity standards.
    • Maintain and distribute inventory of the Day Reporting Program.
    • Communicates regularly with Deputy Director and/or Director about department issues.
    • Remains informed of current developments and procedures pertinent to duties; may be required to attend seminars/training.
    • Meets all job safety requirements and all applicable PERRP safety standards that pertain to the essential functions of the position and all agency safety procedures.
    Brief Description:

    Under the general supervision of the Adult Court Services Department Director/Deputy Director, is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Day Reporting Program and monitors persons placed in the Day Reporting Program; conducts required assessments; and may be assigned a specialized caseload or other special duties by the Director.

    Job Prerequisites:
    Minimum Qualifications:

    Associate Degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and prior work experience in the substance abuse/mental health field and/or community corrections for at least six (6) years; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and other related software. Valid Ohio driver’s license.

    Must be able to maintain strictest level of confidentiality on sensitive issues.

    Salary: $34.62 per hour
