The Missouri Department of Mental Health (DMH) is seeking to fill a vacancy for a Security Control Specialist position located in the DMH Central Office location at 1706 East Elm Street, Jefferson City, MO 65101. Flexible work schedule may be available.
The base salary offered for this position is up to $56,000.00 annually, commensurate with education and experience. If the selected candidate is eligible for a pay differential, such as retention pay, the total salary may exceed what is listed in this posting.
This is a highly responsible position, reporting to the Department Chief Security Officer. The Security Control Specialist will be responsible for approving, granting, managing, and tracking security access requests for the department applications/systems. This position will work closely with various Division and DMH Contracted Providers as well as ITSD Account Provisioning staff on account creation and troubleshooting access issues. This position will be responsible for maintaining the DMH Security Database for audit compliance and assist with periodic audit reviews.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree OR four or more years of professional or technical experience in a related area, or other experience that contributes directing to the understanding of activities of this assignment.
