Duties, Functions and Responsibilities:Essential duties and functions, pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, may include the following. Other related duties may be assigned.
- Determines program goals, objectives and resource requirements.
- Establishes program standards, methods, policies and procedures.
- Coordinates and collaborates with stakeholders.

- Manages the budget of assigned program and associated projects and provides financial information.
- Assists in developing, managing and submitting proposed budget forecast information.

- Provides technical advice and assistance to department management, city management, field personnel, contractors, etc.

- Experience may substitute for education up to a maximum of four (4) years.
Licenses and Certifications Required:- Valid Texas Class C Driver License.

Notes to Candidate:The Program Manager I in the Office of the Fire Chief provides executive assistance and oversees administrative support programs at Fire Department Headquarters. This position manages executive scheduling and correspondence, supervises administrative support personnel, and manages programs that include, but are not limited to, purchasing, travel, event coordination, and employee recognition. This is an in-office position.
Salary Range: $65,390 - $81,740 annually.
Days and Hours: Monday - Friday.
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Hours may vary due to operational needs.
Telework: This is an in-office position. Telework not available.
