Job Summary Performs professional, technical, and administrative work related to managing technical systems (Office 365). Ensures high availability, reliability, and optimal performance of Office 365 email services and associated business communication applications. Participates in the planning and implementation of policies and procedures; and ensures that email provisioning and maintenance is consistent with City goals, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Information Security and Compliance Manager and performance is reviewed through conferences, system status reports, and achievement of goals and objectives.
Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Programming, Computer Science, or related field and three (3) years of experience managing Office 365 environments, including Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, and OneDrive; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Must pass police background investigation.
Microsoft Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals & Microsoft 365 Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate certifications are preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities- Strong understanding of Office 365 architecture, Exchange Online, and email security (ATP, anti-spam, anti-phishing).
- Proficiency with PowerShell for Office 365 administration and automation.
- Knowledge of Azure Active Directory, Conditional Access policies, and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
- Skilled with email routing, transport rules, and data loss prevention (DLP) policies.
- Skilled with hybrid Exchange configurations and migrations to Office 365.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining data integrity and security.

- Two (2) years of direct experience for an associate degree;
